‘Oils just ain’t oils!’
Welcome to my 2nd edition of health beauty tips and more. A huge thankyou to all those wonderful people who provided me with great feedback.
‘Oils just ain’t oils!’ Did you know ….
Oils aren’t just for cars and cooking and massages. Oils offer great benefits for our body, face and hair too. Natural oils relax, soften, soothe, condition, lubricate, stimulate, moisturize and nourish our skin as well as providing a natural aromatic scent. The use of oils in our beauty regime dates back to ancient times of the Greeks, the Romans and Egyptians too. However don’t get this confused with mineral oil. Mineral oil is a refined oil that is a by-product of petroleum and gasoline. It does not allow your skin to breathe and disrupts normal skin functions. Just imagine wrapping your skin with gladwrap and then applying a soothing balm. What would happen? Well actually nothing would penetrate unless there are holes in the wrap. So your skin will become dehydrated and toxins would be trapped within causing skin problems. Did you know that mineral oil is in 98% of lotions, cleansers, creams, foundations, powders and much more? Why? Because mineral oil is cheap. SO BEWARE! Do you want healthy, radiant glowing skin?
All Arbonne products are formulated WITHOUT mineral oils; in fact, Arbonne uses ONLY botanical oils sourced throughout the world to keep your skin looking and feeling healthy and hydrated. Arbonne products are very concentrated. Just a little goes a long, long way.
Did you know that all skin types benefit from botanical oils? Often people with oily skin tend to strip it of all its oil, which actually causes the skin to produce more oil. Want to know the trick? Give your skin just a little oil so it thinks there’s enough then it won’t produce as much and if necessary blot off any excess with a tissue until you become accustomed to applying just the right amount for your own skin.
These are my picks:-
1)
Arbonne’s 5 in 1 Essential Massage Oil which combines a large extract of seaweeds and plant oils. This oil makes for a relaxing body and face massage. I love massaging my face and then applying Arbonne’s Mud Mask. It’s a luxuriating bath soak oil, a purifying facial steam bath oil, a wonderful aromatherapy oil and air purification oil. It’s extremely hydrating for extra dry hair in combination with the Hair Mask or use it to help glide the Sea Scrub all over your body. Mmmmm…. Can you feel it?
2)
Arbonne’s Skin Conditioning Oil makes a wonderfully soothing and hydrating eye makeup remover in conjunction with the hydrating face wash. It’s amazing for repairing burns and hydrates extra dry skin. It’s so healing! Why not give these essential oils a shot? What have you got to lose?

P.S. Latest research shows that eating nuts can actually help us to lose and maintain a healthy weight. Who wouldn’t be in that? Nuts are one of nature’s super foods. Nuts are good for your heart health. It is said that eating nuts in moderation, 2 to 5 times per week significantly reduces the risks of heart disease. Nuts are good for kids too (so long as there is no history of allergy). You can include nuts in the form of a spread (eg peanut butter) to babes as young as 12 months. Nuts are a great source of protein, vitamins and minerals and healthy fatty oils. I love them.
Perhaps you might like to try this healthy dip combining nuts and natural oil. Maybe you could dish it up at your next April Arbonne Affair. Hope to see you there.
